The Doctor said No, But God Said Yes!
Kelly Danielson heard the words from the experts. They said she would never have children. She knew this would shatter her dream, but she also knew she was willing to trust God for the outcome. She tells Dr. Randy her amazing story and how she is living an intentional life after the Doctor Said No, But God Said Yes!
Encouragement From the Intentional Living Center
Powerful and Personal
We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only. John 1:14 NIV
The ark of the Testimony was in place, a curtain shielding it from sight. The altar of burnt offering was positioned in front of the entrance.
Aaron and his sons had been dedicated for service. Now all Moses could do was watch in awe as a cloud signifying God’s holy presence descended and covered the Tent of Meeting, and His glory filled the tabernacle.
Today’s verse would have reminded John’s Jewish readers of that long-ago Tent of Meeting. But Jesus would reveal God’s glory to them in an equally powerful but far more personal way: through His miracles, His death and resurrection.
- How has God shown you His glory? Let your faith be renewed as you
- Remember His answers to your prayers.
- Recall God’s work in your life delivering you from evil, addiction or destruction.
Today’s One Thing
- Think of what God has done for you. Now tell one person about it, and watch as God helps them trust Him more.
Kelly Danielson, A woman of faith, with a miraculous Intentional Living Story to tell!
A Word from Kelly:
I accepted Jesus as a High School sophomore when I saw my friends had “something”, and I wanted it. My relationship with Jesus became more real than ever when I was facing ovarian cancer and the reality that my dream of being a Mother would not be realized, according to doctors. The night before my surgery to remove the tumors, I told God I trusted Him and would accept whatever happened, as I knew that He would do what was best for me. Never before had I felt such peace. Twelve years later, I am the proud mother of 3 beautiful girls, and love to tell this story as a huge part of my testimony. I tell people, “Man told me I wouldn’t have children; God told me I’d have three…” I try to live and lead by example, showing my girls that as long as we have Jesus, we have all we need. I am overwhelmed daily by the reality that if it were only me that day that Jesus were to die for, He still would have… He loves me THAT MUCH…
