                          I.      Family Life Communications Incorporated has created this Privacy Policy to explain why we collect information and how we will protect personal privacy within our Web site. The following discloses our information and data capture gathering practices for the Web sites located at the URLs www.myflr.org, www.theintentionallife.com, or any other FLC owned Web sites.

In order to fully understand user rights we encourage visitors to read this Privacy Policy, as well as the “Terms of Use”. Family Life Communications Incorporated reserves the right at any time and without notice to change this Privacy Policy simply by posting such changes on our Site. Any such change will be effective immediately upon posting.

                       II.      What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information:

 Our registration forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, e-mail address, format preference (HTML vs. Text), address, interests, and similar information. We do not request or store sensitive information from our Web site visitors, such as credit card or social security numbers unless engaged in our e-commerce merchant activities or donation accounts. Then, such information is stored as the user specifies, or allows during the transaction, in encrypted, secure areas.
 
If a user engages in “registration” or development of a “Web Profile” as either a user or a “member”, we store and use information provide to develop a better customer service including but not limited to: data capture; product, article, information page, contest, or form recommendations; demographic and user behavior tracking; customer service issue resolution; third party communications as needed. We will not use said information for sale or resale purposes to third party for marketing purposes of that company.  

We additionally store information submitted by “users” with regard to submit forms, feedback, and testimony, donate, contest forms, events, and any other “user generated” content as needed for customer service, or as outlined in Web submit forms as promotional or ministry use. There are no implied warranties with the acquisition of such data; Family Life Communications Incorporated reserves the right to manipulate the data, edit or revise information as necessary where stipulated.

Family Life Communications Incorporated may release/and or destroy “user” passwords or other captured information provided the “user” can provide reasonable and accurate information so as to determine that the “user” is requesting release of such information. Family Life Communications Incorporated reserves the right to make such a determination at the discretion of the ministry.   

                     III.      Internet Protocol (IP) Address:

 We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to a user computer when using the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users’ movement, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the Web site, and deliver customized, personalized content.

                    IV.      Use of “Cookies”:

 Our Site may use cookies to enhance experiences while using our Web sites. Cookies are pieces of information that some Web sites transfer to the computer that is browsing that Web site. Use of cookies makes Web-surfing easier by performing certain functions such as saving passwords, and personal preferences regarding the use of the particular Web site, and to make sure the user don't see the same “ad” repeatedly. As a result the experience may provide a substantially more personal session.

User browsers are probably set to accept cookies. However, users can alter the configuration of the browser to refuse cookies. If that option is chosen – that is, to have the browser refuse cookies – it is possible that some areas of our Web site will not function properly when viewing them.

                       V.      Security:

 All information provided to Family Life Communications Incorporated is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets browsers automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before sending it to us. We also protect account information by placing it on a secure portion of our Web site that is only accessible by certain qualified employees of Family Life Communications Incorporated. While we strive to protect all information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of such information.

                    VI.      “Tell-A-Friend” or “Invite”:

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our Web site, we ask him or her for the friend's name and e-mail address. Family Life Communications Incorporated will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the Web site.

                  VII.      Other Web Sites:

 Our Web site may contain links to other Web sites. Please note that when users click on one of these links, they are entering another Web site for which Family Life Communications Incorporated has no responsibility or liability.

                 IX.      Graphic Representation:

Please note that there may be occasional updates as to what sizes and options are available for use. Any revisions will be made available promptly.

It is not acceptable to request or disseminate Vector, Photoshop or In Design CS (or other layering program) files unless approved by FLC.

Acceptable image numbers, sizes and resolutions for Online, Internet, web-based promotion, computer presentations, downloadable media content, email attachments for Dr. Carlson can be found at TheIntentionalLife.com. These images may not be reversed or adjusted by any outside vendor or source. Any and all adjustments to size, resolution or color will be provided by, or approved by FLC. 

                       X.      Images:

Under no circumstances shall the image, logo or brand of Dr. Randy L. Carlson, Parent Talk and Intentional Living be included in publications, online Web sites, events or on-air programming that contains, references or includes material that is defamatory; that is lewd or obscene; that has explicit or pornographic language or images; that promotes violence or hate speech; or that is not within the ministry’s market influence and strategic plan.

There must be an established natural affinity between partnerships and or co-branding for events, publications or Internet use when using images, branding, and graphical representations. This affinity must be within the scope of the statement of faith of Family Life Communications, Inc., or as a vendor of as approved by the FLC Web Administrator.  

                    XI.      Use of Logo:

Acceptable logo sizes and resolutions for print, written word, “hard copy” and online publications. These images may not be reversed or adjusted by any outside vendor or source. These images may not be “cropped” for space, or shrunk and increased beyond sizes given. There may not be color adjustment of any kind. Any and all adjustments to size, resolution or color will only be provided by, or approved by, FLC:

The logo and program name must always be italicized as in this example: Intentional Living or regular font for online publication. There are no other acceptable uses of the program name and or logo name online.
