Your Finances

Success is Found in Pleasing Christ

Living intentionally in the area of finances means understanding that all we have is from God.
Our culture equates life success with financial success. Yet, God equates life’s success with our faithfulness in living an intentional life in Christ. Ephesians 5:10 reminds us to, "Figure out what will please Christ, and then do it.” (The Message)

Following through by doing what pleases Christ then becomes the essence of success. As we think about being intentional with our finances, we realize that financial success—how much money you have in the bank or how much you have when you retire—is not a measure of your success. If we pursue money because we want to control it or have more security, we allow money to bring us peace instead of Christ himself.

Remember, all we have is from God. He entrusts resources to us to manage in a way that pleases Him. How you choose to spend your money is a private act of character. Your checkbook, credit card slips and receipts speak volumes about what you value and what you don’t.

At Intentional Living, we have a new tool that offers practical tips and Biblical guidance to help you improve your finances, your health, your relationships, your job and most importantly, your faith. Dr. Randy Carlson, the host of Intentional Living, says The Intentional Journey is truly life changing.
